No es un proceso f\u00e1cil, porque hay muchas variables, seg\u00fan los materiales utilizados. As\u00ed que, hay criterios de elecci\u00f3n de los mismos, que deben adecuarse a cada proceso y los resultados esperados. En esta ocasi\u00f3n, hablamos del uso de c\u00e1todos de lat\u00f3n para celdas Hull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Electrodeposici\u00f3n por celdas Hull<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La electrodeposici\u00f3n por celdas Hull hace posibles pruebas en el laboratorio para evaluar la soluci\u00f3n de electro-depositaci\u00f3n. Se analiza el dep\u00f3sito en el c\u00e1todo en un rango de densidades de corriente, para calcular su desempe\u00f1o en un ba\u00f1o, ya en la producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se trabaja con celdas Hull, porque permiten hacer ejercicios de prueba y error, hasta encontrar el proceso ideal. En estas celdas se colocan los \u00e1nodos y c\u00e1todos (paneles), que pueden ser de acero, o lat\u00f3n. Dos metales con diferencia de potencial, uno actuando como el \u00e1nodo y el otro como c\u00e1todo, producen un flujo de corriente, en un medio como el agua, y esto propicia la corrosi\u00f3n galv\u00e1nica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, hay una serie galv\u00e1nica o \u00edndice galv\u00e1nico que indica el grado de nobleza de cada metal, donde a mayor alejamiento del \u00edndice habr\u00e1 mayor corrosi\u00f3n, y dicho metal ser\u00e1 menos noble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el caso del lat\u00f3n, se encuentra por encima de la media de los metales m\u00e1s nobles en c\u00e1todos, solo por debajo de otros como el grafito, el oro, la plata o el titanio, y al mismo nivel que el cobre, uno de los c\u00e1todos m\u00e1s usados, o el bronce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto califica a los c\u00e1todos de lat\u00f3n como parte de los materiales de mejor desempe\u00f1o para la electrodeposici\u00f3n, que puede usarse, sin problema, en pruebas con celdas Hull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s, la corrosi\u00f3n es insignificante si la superficie del metal m\u00e1s noble es menor, que la del metal sujeto a corrosi\u00f3n.
